October 2020 Content

Posted on 1st October, 2020

Thank you for visiting my blog again! This post includes social media content created for October 2020.

As before, the same terms apply - they are free to use without accreditation and can be modified for your own business as you seem fit, as long as you do not claim to own the image, or sell on as an individual file or make available as part of a larger collection.

I am still offering the opportunity to have these images customised, with your logo, contact details or produced in your own colour schemes. If you would like a bespoke image or animation, I am currently open to requests.  Please use the Contact Me form to request details, or you can contact me at jason@eyesonjason.com.

APPOINTMENT ONLY

A blue calendar open on the October page - the words

With many practices and businesses still offering services by appointment only, this image is great to add to your social media stream to draw attention to how your business operates. Dependent on restrictions and other guidelines, I will likely update this image for November appointments - should we be still needed to offer services by appointment only next month.

I am able to alter the colours, text and customise to your business. Please contact me for a quote. The image above is otherwise free in its current state.

To download the image, right click on the image and select "Save As" or follow this link: APPOINTMENT ONLY and then right click and select "Save As". The latter will be in the full 1080 resolution.

LOCKED DOWN, BUT STILL THERE FOR YOU

 The words

Local lockdowns are occuring across the UK and beyond.  Knowing the difficulties we all had during lockdown and the fact many patients decided not to seek out optometric or ophthalmic help due to fear of the implications of lockdown, this post will help you communicate through your social media pages how you are still there to help them and to highlight the importance of seeking advice if there are any changes to their eyes or vision.

I am able to alter the colours, text and customise to your business. Please contact me for a quote. The image above is otherwise free in its current state.

TAKE REGULAR BREAKS

 Take Regular Breaks

More and more of us are working from home during the pandemic and our usual outdoor hobbies are being restricted. As such, screen use is at an all time high, resulting in multiple complaints of eyestrain, headaches, double vision and blurring after the prolonged screen use.  Use this image to highlight how patients can combat these symptoms through regular breaks.

I am able to alter the colours, text and customise to your business. Please contact me for a quote. The image above is otherwise free in its current state.

I DIDN'T SEE THE STEP

A falling coffee cup with the words

As Autumn is now upon us, nights are drawing in and the ground more slippery and uneven. These factors alone increase the chance of having a trip or fall. Use this post to talk about vision and falls, how your patients can minimise the risk of tripping/falling and how good eye care can keep your patients safe.

I LURK IN WATER

A blue amoeba in a water background with the words

Contact lens wearers should be reminded that tap water, along with swimming pool water and the water from the shower pose a risk of infection, namely from acanthamoeba. Use this image to draw attention to what micro-organisms lurk in water and how to minimise the risk of the sight- and eye-threatening infection.

Whilst I can alter colours, I do feel this image is best as it is. I can, however, modify the text and apply logos and contact details to customise this for your business. Please contact me for a quote - but it is free to use in its current state.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

It is important to add an element of fun to your social media pages. As Halloween occurs in October, please feel free to use this image on your pages to wish visitors a "Happy Halloween".

Jason
